The Bryce 50K will be here in 8 days. A week from Saturday, I’ll be hitting the starting line for the craziest thing I’ve ever done. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. I first started training in October 2020. At the time, May 2021 felt like an eternity away. But time really has flown by!
Today, even as I recover from the stomach flu, I feel ready for this race. This is what I’ve been working toward for 6+ months. The early morning workouts, long weekend runs, speed workouts, cross training…the hours and miles of training have led to this race.
Next week, I’ll definitely do my share of reminiscing and previewing in prep for my 50K. So today, I wanted to do one final training update.
